David Kaplan, the co-founder of Protect-A-Bed® and Murray McLeod. The idea was sparked in 1978 by a practical need: after Murray’s young daughter had a night-time accident, they set out to find a better way to protect mattresses.
By 1984, they had developed the world’s first waterproof mattress protector, revolutionizing the bedding industry. In Australia, their commitment to comfort, protection, and quality quickly set a new standard.
